I am the 2014 International Extemporaneous Speaking region champion in Literary. Literary is a like a track meet, but involves using your mind and intelligence, rather than your body. In my event, I have to draw a topic related to current world affairs, out of 8 random topics. I then have 30 minutes to prepare a speech, then give it in front of judges and an audience. I drew a topic on Syria's use of chemical weapons.
